Vintage 1906 Theo Alteneder & Sons Cast Iron Draftsman Tool Inkstand Philadelphia Office Home Decor Rustic Primitive

Take a look at this absolutely awesome piece we picked up the other day at a yard sale. It has such an awesome vintage look to it and would make a great display piece for any writer or to add to your desk. This is a Theo Alteneder & Sons cast iron draftsman inkstand. It is Patented Dec. 4, 1900, July 10, 1906. As you can see it does have some wear & rust but considering its over 100 years old its in really nice shape. The decal is not all there. The stand looks to be all intact and only thing missing would be the ink well that would be inserted in front but that was usually purchased separately. We measured this by having the tool lifted up as shown in picture 2 & 4. It is approx. 5 1/2 x 5 x 2 1/2 inches. This would make a great gift.
